Blurred...

Sunday mornings you never really know what to expect...
We started things off with a game that was definitely not for those with weak stomachs ;) Alphabet Soup bravely played by Morgan MacDonald and Anna Carillo was a crowd pleaser...

After Blurry game funness Brad dived into our second week of our Blurred series. Challenging us on our view of love and the way we should love. Using Jesus' words in John--->

34 So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. 35 Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

John 13:34-35

We are called to love everyday the way that Jesus does. There are people all around us who are dying to be loved the way that He loves us. Are you willing to get uncomfortable and to LOVE ALL those around you? Is the love of Christ reflected in your everyday actions? James states:

22Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror 24and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does.

James 1:22-25

We must turn our words of love to actions of love. This Sunday we will be giving students the opportunity to do that. During first worship we will head over to the Oaks of Brevard. We will meet at the church and be back by the end of worship. Any questions please contact Brad.
